Halifax Regional Municipality
Structured geolocated permit records suitable for automated search, map display and change detection.
Halifax permit page →PermitProspect organizes supported municipal permit records into searchable, source-attributed opportunities for contractors, suppliers and construction sales teams.
Contractors can review official permit information through individual municipal websites and open-data services. PermitProspect is designed to reduce that manual work by collecting supported sources, preserving attribution and classifying each project by likely trade relevance, value, community and timing.
The product should expand municipality by municipality based on source quality, legal reuse terms and update reliability.

Nova Scotia does not currently provide one consistent province-wide address-level permit feed. PermitProspect is designed to normalize supported municipal sources, beginning with Halifax Regional Municipality and Colchester.
They can be useful for downstream and complementary services such as roofing, landscaping, security, cleaning, equipment rental, supply, insurance and subcontracting. Timing and trade fit vary by permit.
Update frequency depends on the municipality. Structured HRM sources can support frequent change detection, while municipalities that publish monthly reports are updated when a new report appears.
